Reinstating Character & Dharma

Reinstating Dharma

ధర్మో రక్షతి రక్షితః

धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः

Dharmo Rakshito Rakshitah

When dharma is protected, dharma protects.

All glories to AcharyasAll glories to Guru Parampara
The prime philosophy of our school

If we protect Dharma, Dharma protects us

There’s a famous saying, “Dharmo Rakshitho Rakshitha” if we protect Dharma then Dharma will protect us. This is the prime philosophy of our School. To follow Dharma, we should first know, “What is Dharma?”, “Who has given this Dharma?”

The first question

What is Dharma?

With reference to the first question, quote through our Indian Scripture, the Bhagavad Gita - Dharma refers to one’s righteous duty and living in harmony with truth and divine principles. It is a way of life that brings one closer to God through the selfless performance of one’s prescribed duties, in accordance with one’s nature and divine instructions.

The second question

Who has given this Dharma?

With reference to the second question quote through our Indian Scripture, the Srimad Bhagawatam 6.3.19

धर्मं तु साक्षाद् भगवत्प्रणीतम्

Dharma is directly established by the Supreme Lord.

Thus, in the sacred Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna reinstated the eternal principles of Dharma through His teachings to Arjuna, which have been preserved and transmitted through the disciplic succession (Guru–Shishya Parampara). And which is continued by great Acharyas.

Our resolve

Reviving the lost Dharmic principles

Inspired by the teachings of Acharyas and their genuine followers we are trying to revive the lost Dharmic Principles which can really protect us from the distorted state of present society.

Indian education & culture

Lord Macaulay’s address to the British Parliament

In connection to the great Indian education and culture, Lord Macaulay addressed to the British Parliament on February 2, 1835, in which he had made the following statements:

Lord Macaulay’s 1835 address to the British Parliament on Indian education
What was lost

The backbone of our nation

As mentioned, the very backbone of our nation is its Spiritual and Cultural Heritage which was preserved in the Ancient Educational System which was completely deformed by the British Educational System that neither had Spiritual nor Cultural basis.

Why we began

Strong character, strong foundation

Understanding the root cause of the chaos in the educational system, we have started this school to impart strong character along with a strong academic foundation, enabling students to face life’s challenges and lead purposeful lives.

Our School is established with the mission to sow the seeds of love and compassion in the hearts right from the childhood since these children are the future generations who would lead the society.

A core value of the Indian education system

Submission to proper authority

Thus, at Sree Sivani, we strive to rejuvenate one of the prime qualities of the Indian education system—Submission to proper authority, such as parents and teachers, who are the foremost well-wishers of children. Through our well-qualified teachers, who possess excellent academic qualifications and have also been receiving training in the Vedic scriptures, such as the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam, for the past 18 years, we seek to inculcate these values in our students. As it is said, when a teacher possesses noble qualities, he or she can naturally impart those qualities to children. Therefore, virtues such as a sense of responsibility, duty, and discipline naturally develop through respectful submission to proper authority. These are the timeless values we strive to cultivate in every student at Sree Sivani.

In practice

Dedicated Value Education classes

We have dedicated Value Education classes where we help children understand the importance of developing good qualities, becoming valuable assets to society, and leading society with strong character, values, and meaningful relationships.

Roots and wings

An exemplary school

This extraordinary school is an exemplary to the society, as it is holding roots of the Indian Vedic educational system of impacting qualities and flying in the sky with the feathers of modern and advanced teaching techniques to give the best to the younger generations to nurture the future with the lost Indian culture & tradition.

Gratitude

A humble attempt, for our Acharyas

Thus, as a token of gratitude to all our great Acharyas, we are making a humble attempt to revive the lost Indian Culture and give the best to the future generations.

And the journey continues

Our trial to rejuvenate the society with good qualities and character may be just like a drop in the ocean but we believe that each drop has its own significance.

And as the drops keep joining the journey continues....
